77. Appraising Face

Appraising face, and hands and eyes,
I see you've told a lie
My on-line dating's always been
Mere pie up in the sky.

Through many cheerless, worrisome dates,
I have already come,
Your bio cropped out your prison days,
My instincts run me home.

When I've been on 10,000 dates,
and small talk talked a ton,
I've no less place to feel abased,
than when I first begun.
